I see spirits in the mundane. Ancestors in the objects we take for granted. Everything has a story, and I'm here to tell it.
I am an interdisciplinary artist. My work is an examination of my Andean heritage mixed with my tropical countercultural upbringing in Miami Beach and political views. Just like my work, I am neither here, nor there. An outcast on the fringe of reality and identity. I use the objects and mediums from the urban landscape to create a language of mestizaje and colonialism that speaks to a capitalist world. I turn this into a system of symbols and beliefs that support my current artistic exploration.
